Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.

The Business and Law marketing team is currently seeking to recruit proactive, professional and enthusiastic students currently studying at Manchester Met to work as student ambassadors at two clearing visit days this August.

Successful candidates will be required to talk to prospective students and run tours of the Business and Law schools.  

You will be required to work from 11:00am–2:00pm.

Upcoming Clearing Visit Days:

- Wednesday 20 August 2025
- Wednesday 27 August 2025

Duties include:

- Representing the Business and Law schools on the day.
- Answering questions from prospective students and guests.
- Acting as a tour guide giving visitors an informative overview of the Business and Law schools and telling them about student life.

Person Specification

This role is only open to current Manchester Met Business & Law Students who meet the following requirements:

- Available both dates.

- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to engage with prospective students and guests.

- Able to be a positive role model to young people.
- Responsible attitude and the ability to show initiative.
- Able to contribute and work effectively as part of a team or independently.
- A commitment to providing excellent customer service and a professional approach, at all times.
- A positive perspective on HE, educational experiences more broadly, and the University.
