The Faculty of Arts and Humanities are looking for Students to support a number of Open Days across the Humanities, Languages and Social Sciences, Manchester Fashion Institute, School of Digital Art, and School of Art.
As a Student Ambassador, you will play an important role in welcoming prospective students and their guests, sharing your experiences of studying at Manchester Met, and helping visitors gain a positive understanding of university life. You will provide information about your course and subject area, highlight the benefits of higher education, and assist visitors throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent your course and subject area at Open Days and other recruitment events.
- Support academic staff by answering questions from prospective students and guests.
- Assist with presentations, demonstrations, and showcasing department facilities.
- Welcome visitors, offer directions, and provide general assistance throughout the event.
- Lead campus and subject area tours, giving visitors an engaging insight into student life and studying at Manchester Met.
- Support the Marketing Team with event set-up and pack-down, including moving and assembling promotional materials such as pull-up banners.
