The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
There is an opportunity for students to apply to assist our local partner, Hulme Community Garden Centre in delivering two orchard workshops and one woodland workshop at our Birley campus. You will greet and register students, and provide assistance to our partner from Hulme Community Garden Centre for the orchard and woodland sessions.
Duties:
- Meet students and staff in front of the Brooks building, register attendance, and direct attendees to the orchard or woodland area
- Support Kath from Hulme Garden Centre in delivering a successful workshop
- Support and encourage attendees during the activity
Please note - This workshop is lead by Kath at Hulme Community Garden Centre in all weathers, so please wear weather appropriate clothing and footwear.
Ideally, you must be available to work all three workshops, all of which are planned to take place on Wednesday afternoons.
