Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.

The Poetry Library are looking for student ambassadors to work on upcoming school and sixth form outreach events on Friday 6 December and Thursday 12 December 2024.

There are 2 roles – Ambassador/Assistant and Workshop Leader.

Applicants would ideally have knowledge of the Poetry Library, have an interest in poetry and creative writing.

Applicants wishing to be considered as workshop leaders should have attended one of the training sessions offered by the Manchester Poetry Library for potential ambassadors. You can sign up for their next session (running 21^st November) via the Rise web page here: Rise x Future Me at Manchester Met or contact [email protected] for further details about working with the Poetry Library on future projects if you are unable to attend this for any reason.

Dates: Friday 6 December and Thursday 12 December 2024

Hours of Work: 9:00am-12:30pm – plus an additional 2 hours preparation for those leading a session.

This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students who meet the following requirements -
