Job Description

This opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students studying a postgraduate course in the Faculty of Business and Law. There are additional eligibility requirements outlined in the person specification below.

Are you a postgraduate student with a great story to tell? We're looking to recruit a group of Business and Law Postgraduate Subject Ambassadors to create content for us to share with prospective students in order to help them make their decisions on where to complete their postgraduate study.

The type of roles on offer include creating videos, written testimonials and blog posts, and supporting postgraduate events.

Roles will be available to work on from 1 April 2025 until 28 August 2025 and will be for up to 2 hours per week.

Person Specification

This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students. In order to be considered as part of this ambassador scheme, you must either be:

a home student (ie originally from the UK) who studied your undergraduate degree at a different university.
OR
a home or international student who studied your undergraduate degree at Manchester Met.

Skills and attributes required for this role:

Engaged and excited
Positive about your postgraduate studies
Confident speaker/writer
Happy to share your postgraduate experience (either written, on camera or in person)
Good time keeping
Project management
Video recording editing (nice to have/but not essential)
