Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.

We are looking for 4-5 international students to take part in an online panel discussion at one of our upcoming Info Sessions. This is an opportunity to share your experiences as an international student at Manchester Met and help shape how the university supports future students.

During the session, you’ll be answering questions and engaging in discussion with professional services and academic colleagues from across the University. The session will be recorded for internal use within the university.

We’ll explore topics such as:

  • Your experience finding accommodation.

  • How you connected with other international students.

  • The support you’ve received from the university and the Student Union.

  • Challenges you’ve faced while studying in Manchester.

  • How you manage homesickness.

  • The best aspects of being an international student.

  • Awareness of available university support and suggestions for improvement.

  • Your preferred communication formats.

  • The most helpful information you received before arriving – and what you wish you’d known.

This is a great opportunity to have your voice heard and contribute to making Manchester Met an even more welcoming place for international students.

If you’re interested, we’d love to hear from you!
