Job Description
This internship provides the opportunity to work on one of the leading and most creative inner city music festivals in the UK and a true staple in the festival calendar. You’ll be sure to build your contacts, experience and knowledge of the music industry with this role.
Manchester Psych Fest is 100% independent and hosts 70+ live acts, DJs, Art, Food and films across the city. This is a community driven event with a high thirst for gender equality.
The role is completely flexible and can work around your schedule, including studies and/or other job(s) you may have. There will be some tasks that have time constraints but in the main, it’s all very manageable.
The role is completely focused on motion/ video/animation – ‘bringing our assets to life’ whilst implementing your owns tyle/stamp on our branding.
The Role
Manchester Psych Fest are looking to develop their arts team bringing in fresh ideas and contribution to the non-music aspects of the festival:
- Making digital promotional content for the festival including but not limited to editing festival assets and video.
- Assisting with social media / final marketing to drive sales.
- Keeping up to date with festival trends and ideas to make the day more special.
- Create work for the digital wall at Circle Square.

The Company
Manchester Psych Fest is a multi-venue music & arts festival taking place in Manchester on Saturday 30st August 2025. The festival aims to bring together the strange, the far-out and the open-minded giving bands and musicians the opportunity to perform in a number of venues across Manchester city centre including Manchester Academy, Albert Hall, O2 Ritz, Projects Skate Park, Gorilla, YES, and The Deaf Institute.
