The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.

Three Minute Thesis Final

Job Description:

Filming presentations by PhD students where they present their research to an audience, in just 3 minutes. There will be a slight gap in between each presentation which does not need to be filmed. We will need each video as a separate file so that we can upload them individually later, and so that we can send the winning entry to the national competition.

Dates: 20 May 2025 – 22 May 2025

Event Times: 20 May 2025 1:30pm - 4:30pm (first half hour used for set-up, event starts at 2:00 pm)

Editing time: 4 hours

3 hours filming, 4 hours editing (7 hours total)

Person Specification

This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students within the School of Digital Arts.

The successful applicant will be expected to provide their own good quality recording equipment.

The equipment must both film and record clear audio, that can be easily separated into individual recordings in editing.
