The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
The main purpose of this role is to provide research event and media support by assisting with research event/workshop management as well as audio-visual recording. The successful candidate will also be required to support the production of a catalogue for the research related event.
Dates: from 1 May 2025 to 29 August 2025
Total hours for project: 30
*Note 1: the activities wont be spread evenly during the whole period and will happen in a short (max 3-4 weeks) time span based on your allowed hours. This will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
*Note 1: the posts/hours may be divided between two candidates.
Key Tasks
Research Activities
- support the research related events/workshops
- video/sound recording of the event
- photography
- graphic design and lay out of the event/activities catalogue
Plan and prioritise own work and resources, within project framework, in order to determine the most effective way to achieve agreed objectives.
Service Provision
Proactively and effectively engage with quality assurance procedures to ensure that University standards are upheld.
Team Working
Actively participate as a member of the team, offering general help and guidance to others who may be assisting with the research project.
