Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
   
The Nursing Department would like to recruit some Postgraduate Student Nurse Facilitators from the MSc Adult Nursing and MSc Mental Health Nursing programmes.
 
Student Nurse Facilitators support with a variety of activities within the department, including:
- Online drop-ins for incoming students
- Open and Visit days for Nursing programmes
- Taster days for local schools and colleges
- Confirmation and Clearing activities
 
Dates: ongoing from April 2025 to February 2027
Hours of Work: Up to 16 hours a week, however most activities will only require 1-2 hours a week on an irregular basis.
Training will be provided, and we will be in touch with successful applicants regarding training dates.

Person Specification

This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students who meet the following requirements:
 
- Enrolled on the MSc Adult Nursing or MSc Mental Health Nursing programmes.
- Comfortable with signing up for a variety of activities on an ad hoc basis.
- Good communication skills, and comfortable communicating with current and prospective students in person, on teams and by phone when required.
