Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.

There is an opportunity for students to work as Festival Producers for the Social Experiment - Student Edition performance showcase at Contact Theatre.

Duties may include:

* Assist in all pre-event preparation
* Assist with the delivery of the event
* Assist with the curation of the event
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
* Respond to event enquiries via phone and email
* General administration duties

Dates: From April to 6 June 2025 (start date to be confirmed, but as soon as possible).

Times: Average of 4 hours per week (during term time), but with hours increasing in the final days.

Event: from 6pm on 5 June 2025

Person Specification

This role is open to current Manchester Met students who meet the following criteria -

Proven understanding of, and commitment to, contemporary performance practice.

Excellent organisation, collaborative and communication skills.

Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanour under pressure.

Ability to tune into the needs of live artists in diverse practices and from diverse backgrounds.

Commitment to detailed maintenance of records, systems and professional practices.
