Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role. 
  
This is an opportunity to be involved with assisting the co-curation of a large group exhibition of artists and designers. The role is part of the degree show's curated groups shows happening in Holden, Link and Vertical galleries. The candidate is required to fulfil the following duties:
 
- edit seventy artist statements which accompany the artworks across the three gallery spaces.
- maintain documents/folders
- communicate with curating staff and artists 
 
Dates: from 19 to 31 May 2025
Hours of Work: 8.5 hours per week

Person Specification

This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students who meet the following requirements - 

- Excellent writing and editing skills including fluency with Microsoft Office, Word Grammar and Spellchecks.
- Proven knowledge of the English language.
- Ability to work efficiently, independently and to reach deadlines.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility.
- An interest in art, design and craft.
