Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
  

Saturday Club Banner Creation

 Creation of banner designsto representour MMU's 4 Saturday Clubsat outreach and recruitment events and make us stand out on campus open days

 To create 5 digital roller banner designs of work based on the four Saturday clubs that run at MMU.

 This will include 2 stages;  

  • Stage 1 – create a banner design that can be personalised to each club’s identity’s, is appealing to young people and gives a reference to Man Met’s branding identity.  

  • Stage 2 – create a 5th banner that can be used to represent all 4 clubs in one design. 

 

The student will also be given access to a SharePoint site with photographs and artwork from all four clubs to incorporate in the digital exhibition. The student will also be given some information about the Saturday clubs to include in the digital designs.
 
Date: ASAP
Hours of Work:

Stage 1: 10 hours to include 2x30-minute review meeting (ending on the 5th of June) 

Stage 2: 5 hours to include a 30-minute review meeting (ending on Friday 19th of June).  

There is an option to extend the hours if needed.

Details of briefing/training (if relevant): Meeting with Marie/Amanda to onboard and discuss the project brief, followed by 3 follow-up meetings

Person Specification

This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students who meet the following requirements - 
 
  • Current Manchester Met Student with relevant design skills or studying a course related to graphic design, visual communication, or a creative discipline.
  • Confident in using design software (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or equivalent) to create professional-quality digital banner designs.
  • Open to working with feedback and engaging with the project team to ensure the banners reflect the goals of the Saturday Clubs programme.
