Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.

Business and Law - Open Day Student Ambassadors

Who: Open to Business and Law School students, at an undergraduate level.

What: To support your subject area at our next UG Open Day.

Why: To give a student perspective on your course and life at university to the future students of Manchester Met.

When: Wednesday 18 June, 9:30am – 4:00pm

Where: Business School North Atrium

Objective

We’re looking for enthusiastic undergraduate students to support at the next UG Open Day. You will be expected to chat to prospective students and visitors, providing your personal experience as a student at Manchester Met. You will also be asked to support some of our academic staff to deliver a subject presentation.

This is a great opportunity to develop your professional portfolio, and add a new role to your CV. You will develop communication skills and expand your professional network whilst working closely with other students and academics.

Person Specification

This role is open to current Business & Law undergraduate students who meet the following requirements -

- A team player, as you’ll be working within a group of student ambassadors for the event
- Confident and approachable as you’ll be asked questions, but may also be required to start the conversation
- Comfortable working with academic staff
- Passionate about sharing your authentic student experience
- Reliable and able to commit to a full day
- Able to take instruction and feedback
