Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.

MMU Sport is looking for a videographer to capture our weekly sport and fitness activities so we can produce engaging online content. Our aim is to build a portfolio of high quality footage to be used for end of term highlights and promotional videos for key events and campaigns.

This role comes with plenty of opportunities to capture some of the 30+ clubs at Manchester Met, our free sports and fitness offering as well as some ad hoc events.

Events to be covered may include:
  • BUCS fixtures
  • Active Campus - our free sports and fitness sessions.

  • Zone Out - our joint department wellbeing event.

  • BUCS Nationals - a weekend competition involving more of our individual sports such as athletics and swimming.

  • Manchester Varsity - our annual multi-sport competition against the University of Manchester.

  • The Manchester 10K

Majority of BUCS fixtures take place on a Wednesday, so we would be looking for someone who can broadly commit to that day. We will liaise with you on a weekly basis to discuss times and locations depending on our requirements and your availability.

On occasion, we may have events taking place later in the evening or across a weekend. In these cases, dates and times will be communicated well in advance.
