We’re looking for friendly, proactive, and reliable students to join the Student Hubs team to support new and returning students during one of the most exciting times of the academic year.
As a Student Hub Assistant, you’ll play a key role in delivering a welcoming and helpful experience for our student community. You’ll be based at either the Business School or Brooks Student Hub, helping to answer questions, manage queues, and support the day-to-day running of the hubs.

Dates: Monday 15 September – Friday 10 October 2025 (weekdays only).

Hours: 08:45 – 16:30 (30 minute break)

Locations: Business School Hub or Brooks Building Hub
Key Responsibilities
As part of your role, you’ll support with:

Greeting and directing students in a friendly, approachable way

Managing queues and ensuring efficient flow in busy areas

Speaking to students to resolve common queries

Assisting with the delivery and smooth running of welcome events

Answering telephone and online enquiries using provided information

Carrying out general admin tasks to support the hub team
You’ll receive training ahead of your first shift and will be supported throughout by the permanent Student Hubs staff.
