The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
The School of Nursing and Public Health are recruiting two Student Nurse Facilitators to help with the creation of some bespoke careers resources for nursing students.
- You will roleplay as a final year Nursing student (undergraduate or postgraduate), who is applying for a Band 5 Nursing position within a NHS Trust.
- Alongside other interviewees and the facilitator, you will record yourself answering three interview questions based on your motivations and your experiences on your placements. You will get the questions in advance, alongside tips on how the facilitator will want you to answer them.
The purpose of this is to give Nursing students an opportunity to view real people answering the type of questions common in NHS interviews. They will gain exposure to what good answers will look like and what makes you hireable as a candidate. Your answers will be a mixture of top-quality interview answers alongside at least one answered unimpressively for students to critique.
This will also give you the opportunity to learn interview techniques for your future career.
