The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
The Arts and Humanities Faculty Marketing team is looking for a group of enthusiastic students to be involved in creating a video to showcase some of the postgraduate Arts and Humanities courses at Manchester Met.
What does the job involve?
We’ll ask you to take part in a filmed interview which will be used in a video about your course. We’ll ask you questions to provide an insight into studying your course at Manchester Met, and the facilities available to students who are thinking of coming here.
You’ll also take part in filming b-roll for the video, which could include using facilities, spending time in the buildings, and chatting to other students.
Our research has shown that, when applying for universities, prospective students look for imagery that represents them, so your input could make a big difference to their application.
What experience do you need?
No prior video shoot experience is necessary as you’ll be given all the guidance and advice you need ahead of the day and throughout the session; you just need to be confident and comfortable on camera. This includes speaking on camera.
We will be holding a short casting session via Teams prior to appointing any successful applicants.
A briefing will be emailed out for successful applicants prior to filming.
Where will the content be used?
The video will be shared across (but not limited to) the Manchester Met website, social channels, and email communications. The video may be used in external advertising.
