The Recruitment & Admissions team are seeking to recruit postgraduate students who are currently studying at Manchester Met to become Postgraduate Student Ambassadors for the 2025/2026 academic year.
Postgraduate Student Ambassadors are proactive, organised, professional and enthusiastic Manchester Met students who can apply for a range of flexible job opportunities throughout the academic year.
There are a number of different opportunities available for Postgraduate Student Ambassadors to represent Manchester Met University. You could support Open Days and Visit Days on campus, providing information to prospective students on the benefits of higher education and addressing the key selling points of Manchester Met. There are also opportunities to be involved in content creation for print and online activity, this could include writing blogs, giving testimonials, participating in photoshoots, and taking part in online/on campus Q&A student panels.
The roles available to Postgraduate Student Ambassadors offer flexibility when working around study commitments.
Postgraduate Student Ambassador roles may include:
- Representing the University at recruitment events, such as Open Days and Visit Days. For example, supporting the meet and greet team at the registration desk, answering visitor questions at the subject stands and lecture theatre support.
- Supporting the set-up of recruitment events such as preparing and dismantling exhibition areas.
- Acting as a tour guide, giving visitors an informative overview of the university campus and telling them about student life.
- Representing the University online, including participating in virtual events, Q&A sessions, testimonials, blog writing and vlog opportunities.
