Join us at Manchester School of Architecture's Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) team for an exciting opportunity in supporting our work. We are seeking an individual to work closely with staff and students in developing our EDI platform, contributing to fostering a more inclusive and equitable environment within our School. As an assistant to the EDI Team, you will play a vital role in meeting project objectives, engaging with students, and supporting the creation of dynamic content for our digital platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with the project manager on a weekly basis to discuss ongoing tasks and project progress.
- Collect and edit student work, ensuring high-quality representation of diverse perspectives and experiences.
- Conduct interviews with students about their academic work, capturing their unique insights and contributions.
- Engage with the MSA's EDI Fora Society to gain a comprehensive understanding of the culture and identity of our School.
- Utilize image processing software to prepare visual content for the digital EDI platform, identity.
- Demonstrate an active interest in matters of equity, diversity, and inclusion, reflecting these principles in all aspects of your work and interactions.
