Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
 

We’re looking for enthusiastic undergraduate and postgraduate students to feature in upcoming photoshoots promoting our science and engineering courses to future Manchester Met students.

These shoots will highlight our cutting‑edge facilities and give prospective students a real sense of what life is like in the Faculty of Science and Engineering.

 

Dates, times and locations

Various shifts available across the following dates and times:
 
  • Wednesday 4 February 2026 between 8:45am - 5:30pm
    Dalton building
    Photoshoot subjects: Life Sciences and Environment

  • Wednesday 11 February 2026 between 8:30am - 5:30pm
    Manchester City's Etihad Campus
    Photoshoot subject: Sport

  • Friday 13 February 2026 between 12pm - 5pm
    Institute of Sport
    Photoshoot subject: Sport

Plenty of breaks will be provided.
 
 

Where the photos will be used

Content captured as part of these photoshoots will be shared across, but not limited to:

  • The Manchester Met website
  • Advertising campaigns
  • Social media
  • Event presentations
  • Printed materials (e.g prospectus)
  • Email communications 

By working this role, you’ll need to provide your consent via signature.

Person Specification

This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students who meet the following requirements - 
 
Essential
  • You're studying an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at Manchester Met in the Science and Engineering Faculty.
  • You're comfortable and confident in front of a camera.
  • You're enthusiastic and energetic.

Desirable
 We're particularly interested in students from the following subjects/courses:
  • Life Sciences
  • Environment
  • Sport, particularly those studying BSc (Hons) Manchester City Community Football Coaching
