The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
As an intern at Mancunia Ugly, you will gain hands-on experience in both the operational and creative sides of a niche, high-end automotive-inspired fashion brand. You will assist in making up customer orders, ensuring products are prepared to the brand’s premium standards, and support the development of new designs and products. This role offers exposure to sustainable fashion practices, innovative material use, and the craftsmanship involved in creating collectible leather and textile pieces.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with preparing and fulfilling customer orders to a high standard.

Support the design and development process for new products, including sourcing materials, creating prototypes, and testing finishes.

Contribute to the creative brainstorming process for new product concepts.

Help maintain an organized workspace and keep track of materials and stock.

Learn about the use of automotive-inspired textiles, leather treatments, and finishing techniques.
