Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
  

We’re looking for enthusiastic undergraduate and postgraduate students to feature in an upcoming photoshoot promoting our new Digital Education Nexus (DEN) facility in Dalton.

The shoot will highlight this cutting‑edge facility and give prospective students a real sense of what life is like in the Faculty of Science and Engineering and Faculty of Health and Education.

Dates, times and locations

  • Wednesday 15 April 2026
  • Exact timing is still TBC, but will be between 9am and 4:30pm
  • Dalton building
  • This is a one-off role. Plenty of breaks will be provided
 

Where the photos will be used

Content captured as part of these photoshoots will be shared across, but not limited to:

  • The Manchester Met website
  • Advertising campaigns
  • Social media
  • Event presentations
  • Printed materials (e.g prospectus)
  • Email communications 

By working this role, you’ll need to provide your consent via signature.

Person Specification

This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students who meet the following requirements - 
 
Essential
  • You're studying an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at Manchester Met in the Faculty of Science and Engineering or Faculty of Health and Education.
  • You're comfortable and confident in front of a camera.
  • You're enthusiastic and energetic.

Desirable
We're particularly interested in students from the following subjects / courses:
  • Biomedical Science
  • Human Physiology
  • Biomedicine
  • Biology / Conservation Biology
  • Biomedical Engineering
  • Sport and Exercise Science
  • Nursing
  • Public Health
  • Physiotherapy
