The Creative Practice and Galleries Technical Team is looking for 6 students to assist with the upcoming prestigious Art School Degree Show 2026, and to support the team with workshops, artist studio installation, and preparation activities across Arts and Humanities buildings.

Monday & Tuesday: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Wednesday: 9:00am – 1:00pm

Thursday & Friday: 9:00am – 4:00pm

Duties Include:

Responding to student queries in the workspaces and signposting to technical staff where appropriate

Assisting technical staff with the installation of creative outputs, including artworks, products, and craft

Recognising health and safety hazards and reporting them to technical staff

Assisting with manual handling of materials used for the show build

Supporting technical staff in setting up equipment within workspaces

Preparing exhibition spaces for student exhibits

Prioritising the safekeeping of students’ artworks

Cleaning, tidying, and organising workspaces as required
