Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.

A 3D scanning and support technician is required to support with a variety of 3D scanning requests from staff and students. The role is for one day per week for seven weeks, working either one full day or two half days per week.

The role will require utilising a variety of 3D scanning technologies and associated software to capture and post process scan data.

The role holder will be required to support staff and students with a variety of 3D scanning requests. The role will be based at PrintCity, Turing House.

Dates: from week commencing 13 April 2026 to 29 May 2026

Hours of Work: 9am-4pm one day a week

Person Specification

This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students that have experience using 3D scanning technologies and associated software. Please indicate which 3D scanners and software you have used and what experience you have in 3D scanning for your suitability statement. Knowledge of Autodesk Fusion 360 is desirable, but not essential.
