The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
What is the programme?
We are looking for students to live in show flats on campus within our owned and leased halls for the 26/27 academic year (September 2026 - July 2027). The programme is open to 2nd/3rd year and PG students. Accommodation will be available in Archway, Dunham, Oxford Court and Warde. You will be asked for a preference on accommodation and then rooms will be allocated inline with operational requirements. But there is no guarantee on your preference, you would only be living with other 2nd/3rd and PG students.
What is a show flat?
Your flat will be designated as a show flat. This means your flat communal areas and your bedroom will be used for all open and visit days for accommodation tours. There may also other occasions when your flats and rooms may be needed for viewings.
What do we expect?
We would expect you to keep your flat clean, tidy, and well maintained. You will also be required to be available to show your room at all open days and visit days, as well as occasional ad hoc tours as required. We would also where possible, like you to be involved in content creating for our social media and marketing.
We will issue uniform which you are expected to wear on all shifts.
What will you receive?
There will be opportunity for paid work at open days and visit days as well, this would normally be 5 hours.
Your flat will also be regularly cleaned in order to help you keep it ready for events.
