The event is the final day of a three-day workshop series where young people and adults aged 16–30 will develop original writing and illustration inspired by moments when they “fell in love” with books.
The role will involve capturing natural, respectful footage of participants taking part in creative activities, including writing, drawing, group discussion and interaction with the lead artist and researchers.
The photographer will create staged portraits with each participant to capture their personality and creative identity. All photography should be participant-centred and sensitive.
Final deliverables will include 10–15 edited event images and 3–5 edited portrait options per participant, supplied as high-quality JPEGs suitable for web and print via OneDrive.
