Rise is looking to build a Rise Community Active Programme in term one of the 2026-27 academic year. We are looking for a Student Project coordinator to lead on the organisation, planning, and delivery of a programme which centres community at the heart of active experiences. We are rethinking what being active means, and looking at ways we can turn sport, active experiences, and physical or fitness activities into opportunities to build confidence, find your community, and feel creative. Rather than looking to 'win' or measure ourselves against the usual markers of success in sport, we are looking to surface fun, find the joy, make learning the goal, and experience the process together.
The programme has been partly designed already, and this role would require a highly organised, creative individual who would like to support the operational side of delivery, and work closely with a team of students, Rise staff and our University colleagues, to deliver a fun and engaging programme.
The role will be for 6 hour per week, with some weeks being busier than others. You will work both collaboratively and independently to action tasks, and keep on track of the whole programme as it develops.
Dates: 21 September - 18 December 2026
Hours of Work: Up to 6 hours per week, but variable
