The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
The Careers Service (Faculty of Business and Law) is looking for an enthusiastic and organised student to support our professional LinkedIn headshot photographer at our Week 6: Get Career Ready event.
You'll help the photography sessions run smoothly, support students on the day and help organise and send out their headshots afterwards.
You won't be taking or editing the photographs — the professional photographer will do this — but you'll play an important role in making sure 200+ students receive the correct finished headshot.
You don't need to have photography experience. We're looking for someone who is friendly, organised, confident and comfortable working with lots of people.
What you'll be doing
On the day:
- Help organise students waiting for their headshots.
- Welcome students and answer questions.
- Keep track of which students have had their photos taken.
- Support the photographer with setting up and packing away.
- Work with the Careers Service team to keep things running smoothly.
After the event:
- Match photos to the correct students.
- Send students their headshots using the agreed process.
- Keep accurate records of which headshots have been sent and follow up on any outstanding information.
- Handle student information and photographs securely and in line with data protection requirements.
- Make sure all headshots are distributed by the agreed deadline.
