Photography Models - Welcome Week Shoot

Job Description

This role is only open to current students at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Want to be part of this year's Welcome Week campaign?

We're looking for friendly, enthusiastic Manchester Met students to take part in a photography shoot during our Welcome event. The images captured will help showcase the student experience at Manchester Met and will be used across our marketing, recruitment and student communications throughout the year.

This is a great opportunity to represent the University, meet other students and be part of creating content that future students and applicants will see.

Date: Monday 5 October
Time: 12:00pm to 4:00pm
Location: Manchester Met Campus

During the shoot, you'll be encouraged to enjoy the Welcome activities as you normally would while our photographer captures genuine student moments.

You may be asked to:

Explore and take part in Welcome Week activities.
Chat and socialise with other students.
Participate in games and interactive activities.
Pick up information, freebies or merchandise at event stands.
Walk around campus and event spaces with other students.
Follow occasional direction from the photographer and marketing team.

Don't worry, we're not looking for professional models. The focus is on capturing authentic, natural moments that reflect what it's really like to be part of the Manchester Met community.

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you should:

Be a current Manchester Met student.
Be friendly, approachable and enthusiastic.
Feel comfortable being photographed in a variety of campus settings.
Be confident interacting with other students.
Be able to follow instructions and work cooperatively with the photography and marketing teams.
Be available for the full duration of the shoot.
