Job Description

This opportunity is available for current International Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.

We are creating four subject specific videos of Health and Education international students. The videos will focus on each student’s unique experience while studying their course.

Students are required to film content with our videography team, the location will be the Brooks Building. The videos will be talking head style videos (we will interview you to ask you about your course).

Prior to filming we will have briefing sessions to discuss what we will cover on the videos.

If you are studying any of the following courses you are invited to apply:

Role 1 - Education:

We are recruiting students studying one of the following subjects:

MA Education
MA Education Leadership
MA Inclusive Education

For the filming day you’ll be required to attend for approximately 4 hours, (please see filming dates below)*

We will provide a 60 minute online briefing session to explain the requirements of the content in detail ahead of the filming day.

Filming Date:

18 or 23 September (TBC)

Please advise if you are available to film on either or both of the dates above.

Person Specification

This role is only open to international students who meet the following criteria -

Be a friendly, engaging and positive representative of your course, department and Manchester Met.
Excellent verbal and written English.
Ability to communicate effectively in a wide range of contexts.
Good organisational and presentation skills.
Presentable and professional.
Able to ‘think on your feet’.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
