This is a short-term part-time job for a skilled website designer interested in collaborating with a research team to develop an MMU satellite website targeting children’s families, paediatric clinicians, and paediatric physiotherapists.
Background
We want to appoint a suitable student from Manchester Metropolitan University to work on the MRC-funded project: “Quantification of head and trunk control for children with neuromotor and neuromuscular disorders” (MR/T002034/1, information at: https://gtr.ukri.org/projects?ref=MR%2FT002034%2F1). The objective of this proposal is to develop an accurate, low-cost clinical tool to provide automated objective assessment of trunk control status in children with cerebral palsy (CP), spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), and other neuromuscular disorders.
As part of the project, we are creating an MMU satellite website for the dissemination of the clinical tool and are looking for a suitable website designer who would like to join our team.
Main duties/responsibilities
