Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.

We are looking for a talented student photographer to capture professional-quality LinkedIn profile pictures at our upcoming Place to Be recruitment fair on 5 February 2025.

What You’ll Do:

Take professional LinkedIn profile photos of event attendees.
Edit and enhance the photographs to ensure a polished and professional finish.
Distribute the edited photos to the respective participants post-event.

Date: Wednesday 5 February

Event Time: 12:00pm - 5:00pm

Additional editing and distribution time: 5 hours

Person Specification

This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students.

We would like to see a CV and portfolio please - no covering letter.

Please note that the successful applicant will be expected to provide their own equipment.

Students studying on eligible courses may be able to hire the required equipment from a resource store on campus.

Essential

Must provide own photography equipment, including a high-quality DSLR or mirrorless camera, lenses, and SD cards with sufficient file storage
Previous experience in photography and photo editing
Proficiency in using photography equipment
Strong organisational skills to ensure timely editing and distribution of photos
A friendly and professional attitude to make attendees feel at ease during their photoshoots
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with event organisers and attendees.

Desirable

Previous experience taking professional headshots
