 Social Media & Content Creation Intern

Job Description
We are seeking a creative and motivated intern to support the growth of our clothing brand's social media presence, with a primary focus on TikTok. The role involves content creation, trend research, and community engagement to increase brand awareness and audience engagement. This is a great opportunity for a student looking to gain hands on experience in digital marketing within a small and friendly team. 
 
  •  Plan, create, and edit engaging content that aligns with brand identity and trends.
  • Research and implement trending sounds and formats to maximise content reach.
  • Schedule and post content.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster community growth.

Dates: 12 May - 18 July 2025
Hours:  75 hours over 10 weeks, approximately 7.5 hours a week.

Person Specification

This role is only open to current Manchester Met students studying within the Department of English, BSc Digital Media Communications or BA Business Psychology.
 
Students applying to this role should have the following: 
 
  • A strong interest in social media and content creation.

  • A creative mindset with the ability to generate interesting content ideas.

  • A knowledge of TikTok trends and features.

  • Basic video editing skills 

  • A proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
