The Sociology and Criminology central Outreach team are seeking to recruit Sociology/Criminology students, to welcome 30 students from 2 local colleges onto campus taking part in Insightful Minds: Humanities Highlights - Sociology and Criminology Showcase on Thursday 22 May.
Their visit coincides with a very important date in our student’s calendar. It’s going to be an extraordinary day filled with excitement and achievement as our final-year MMU students reach a major milestone - they’ll be presenting their final assessments and officially completing their degrees. What a moment to celebrate!
Successful candidates will take part in a student panel Q&A session, and accompany students as they take part in a lively taster session.
You will be expected to provide a positive and informative perspective on all aspects of studying here at Manchester Met and being a part of the Manchester Met University community.
Responsibilities:
- Answer questions about university life as you engage with the students during their subject activity taster session
- Participate in a tutor led student panel Q&A session, answering questions on studying Sociology and/or Criminology and wider questions on student life.
You will receive full briefing ahead of the event to ensure you are comfortable engaging with students and participating in a student life Q&A panel.
