Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.

The Arts and Humanities marketing team are looking for two students to support us with filming at Manchester Fashion Institute’s end of year showcase.

What does the job involve? 

We’ll ask you to form part of a team of videographers, capturing our end of year fashion showcase. This takes place across the Grosvenor East/West and Righton buildings and encompasses catwalk shows, exhibitions and soap box events.

Where will the content be used? 

The content will form part of a film that is used across the website and email.

Hours: 4:30 - 8:30

Person Specification

This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students who meet the following requirements -

You are studying filmmaking at UG or PG (or have comparable experience)
You’ve got substantial experience of operating a video camera
You are comfortable working at a busy event with lots of people

Ideally someone from our Filmmaking programmes at UG or PG level – if not they from those courses they must demonstrate that they have substantial experience of operating a video camera.
