Between Worlds: Connecting Organisations and Creative Researchers – A half-day public event connecting academic researchers and external partners, organised by the Media and Digital Culture research group.
Job Description:
We are seeking student photographers to capture professional headshots of event participants in the SODA Photography studio during the Between Worlds event. The ideal candidate will have experience in portrait photography and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment to ensure high-quality images are delivered efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate photography equipment to capture high-quality professional headshots.
Ensure consistent lighting, framing, and composition for all images.
Engage with participants professionally and make them feel comfortable during their headshots.
Manage time effectively to accommodate all participants within the allocated event period.
Edit and retouch images to a professional standard within the allocated timeframe.
Deliver final edited photos to models promptly, ensuring they meet the required quality and specifications.
Attend a mandatory pre-event briefing to understand the event setup, expectations, and guidelines.
Ensure you have received a SODA photography studio induction prior to application
