The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
The design student will be working closely with a team of researchers, to produce public-engagement and communication materials for communicating the research outcome of a project funded by the British Academy, to the general public, and to those with communication challenges following a stroke.
This requires the student to engage with the scientific information, and to engage in co-creation with (or at least conversation and feedback from) stroke survivors. The visual designs, while creative, have to convey clear scientific methods, findings and facts, in appealing, attractive and clear way.
The work will be from part of the display at the British Academy summer fair in London in the summer of 2026.
Dates: 2 July - 31 July 2025
Hours: 35 hours per week.
