The Man Met Carbon Literacy Team is seeking an enthusiastic video editor to put together a video for the CL Spark Project..
The Spark Project is a student-led initiative aiming to create a collection of informative and inspirational video content that can be used to generate excitement around Manchester Met’s Carbon Literacy Programme. By strengthening engagement with Carbon Literacy training, the Spark Project plays a key role in building climate awareness within the University and driving the low-carbon culture we need in order to address climate change, as well as contributing to the achievement of Man Met’s strategic commitment to embed Carbon Literacy training in all taught programmes by 2026. In spring 2025, the Spark Team filmed a series of video interviews with students on campus. The team has already identified the footage to be used, and produced a script/storyboard; we now seek an editor who can assemble this footage into an inspirational short video promoting Carbon Literacy training. This is an opportunity to develop your portfolio of work whilst making a real impact on the most pressing issue of our time.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of/experience with:
- Editing software
- Production of video content for promotional and/or social media purposes

Dates and hours are flexible and to be arranged with the hiring manager. We envision 16 hours of work between 19th - 29th August.
