The Health and Education team are currently seeking to recruit proactive, organised, professional, and enthusiastic students currently studying at Manchester Met to work as Subject Support Ambassadors.
Successful applicants will assist in the delivery of the University’s core recruitment and widening participation strategies. Successful candidates will be required to provide information to prospective students including the benefits of higher education and address the key selling points of Manchester Met.
The Subject Ambassador roles are casual, offering flexibility when working around study commitments. Work opportunities are more frequent during school semesters. Your duties include:
- Representing your course and subject area at upcoming recruitment events.
- Support academics during recruitment events such as answering questions prospective students and guests may have, assisting with presentations and facility demonstrations.
- Approaching visitors to offer assistance (e.g. providing directions) and answer questions.
- Act as a tour guide giving visitors an informative overview of the university campuses and telling them about student life.
