MMU Sport Coach (Athletics, Netball and Dance)
MMU Sport are looking to recruit a number of Athletics, Netball and Dance coaches to help drive the success of our clubs forward. You will act as the lead coaching contact for your respective team and work alongside the club committee to deliver effective training sessions in line with the students’ wants and needs.
Key responsibilities:

Plan and conduct engaging and effective training sessions

Develop game strategies and prepare the team for matches (where applicable)

Ensure the safety and well-being of all players during training
Working pattern/hours:

Coaching falls in line with the University’s academic year. All coaching contracts are for a period of 23 weeks, running from the end of September to the start of April each year.

Minimum 2 hours coaching a week. For most of our MMU Sport clubs, this takes place on a Monday evening, with some training on a Thursday.

You will also be required to have a presence on match days where applicable. This comprises 6 home fixtures and 6 away fixtures on a Wednesday between the hours of 13:00 and 20:00. You will be paid 3 hours for each fixture.
