The
current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply
you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
What: We’re looking for event ambassadors to support at our Conversion Visit Days. You will be asked to support with the following tasks:
- Crowd control and signposting within the business school (at the start of the event only)
- Interactive sessions led by academics
- Share your experience as a student in a large lecture theatre or smaller sessions in a seminar room
- Support or lead tours of the Business School
Why: As part of the student recruitment process, we invite applicants who have been given an offer to attend university for a few hours on a choice of dates. During this time, visitors are introduced to their subject area and have the opportunity to experience a taster lecture and interactive seminar to get a sense of what being a student here is really like.
Similar to Open Days, it’s important to have student ambassadors at these events as it gives our visitors the opportunity to hear your experiences and ask any questions they may have. After all, you are the voice of authenticity!
