Introduction to SODA - Taster Day

Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.

The faculty outreach team are looking to recruit 4x students currently studying at the School of Digital Arts (SODA) to support with an Introduction to SODA taster day for a group of Year 10 students. You will be required to take part in a Q&A panel, showcase examples of your work, and be on hand to answer any general questions about your experience studying at university.

Dates: Wednesday 11 February 2026

Hours of Work: 10am - 12pm

Details of briefing/training: Monday 9 February, 10:00 - 10:30am (MS Teams)

Person Specification

This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students who meet the following requirements -

Essential:

Must be studying a subject at SODA
Must be confident talking to prospective students and about your work
General knowledge of Information and Guidance (IAG) and able to share own experience

Desirable:

Passionate about helping young people discover higher education opportunities and options available.
