The Science and Engineering marketing team is currently seeking to recruit organised and enthusiastic students currently studying an undergraduate course within the faculty to work as Visit Day ambassadors at our upcoming Applicant Visit Day on Saturday 28 February.
Applicant Visit Days are an opportunity for prospective students with an offer to study with Manchester Met to have a second look around the campus and facilities, take part in an interactive subject session, and meet future course mates.
We are looking to recruit students to represent the following course areas:
Biology
Chemistry/Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry
Computer Science/Software Engineering/AI and Data Science/Cyber Security
Computer Games Development
Computer Animation and Visual Effects
Mathematics
Biomedical Engineering
Electronic Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Product Design Engineering
Biomedical Science
Human Physiology
Geography/Human Geography
Environmental Science
Sport Nutrition/Sport Coaching and Development
Health and Exercise Science/Sport and Exercise Science
Duties:
- Represent your course area and the faculty of Science and Engineering at the Visit Day.
- Support academics by answering questions prospective students and guests may have, assisting with presentations and facility demonstrations.
- Assist visitors with directions, guidance and general queries.

Hours of Work: 3 hours - start times will vary depending on your subject and will be confirmed in advance of the event.
