Job Description
We are looking for a Social Media Video Content Creator Intern to support the creation of engaging video content for Instagram Reels and TikTok. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about fashion, sustainability, and digital storytelling, and who wants hands-on experience working with an independent brand.
You’ll work closely with the founder to capture, edit, and produce fun and colourful short-form video content that documents the making process, finished pieces, events, and behind-the-scenes studio life.
Key Responsibilities
- Film and edit short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Develop engaging content ideas aligned with J.O.STUDIO’s brand and values.
- Edit videos using Canva or Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar).
- Add captions, text overlays, and graphics where needed.
- Support with content planning and scheduling.
- Capture behind-the-scenes footage in the studio, at events, or on location.
- Stay up to date with relevant platform trends and formats.

Hours: 7.5 hours/week
Location: The Yard, 11 Bent street, M8 8NF, with some opportunities for remote work.

The Company
J.O.STUDIO is a Manchester-based sustainable fashion brand working with discarded festival tents to create functional, performance-led garments and accessories. The Studio focuses on circular design, local manufacturing, and transparent making, repurposing camping equipment to challenge people’s mindset about festival waste.
