The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
The International Office are looking for friendly International Ambassadors to phone international student offer holders and answer their queries in support of their arrival to Manchester Met in September 2026.
You will have a script to follow during the telephone conversation and a member of staff will be available to answer any difficult questions. All the students you will be calling have opted in to receive a phone call.
We expect you to be knowledgeable of the university's services so you are able to provide good customer service, however you will have access to a PC/your own laptop to search for the necessary information in order to guide and advise applicants and offer holders. Queries typically include: CAS/visa/enrolment process, student life in Manchester, their course structure, etc. Our aim is to ultimately ensure these students are comfortable and reassured with the information they receive, in order for a seamless journey to being enrolled at Manchester Met.
Please note as the duration of the calls can vary, if the calls are completed in less time than expected, successful applicants may be offered the opportunity to complete an alternative role for the International Office, up to the number of hours they are booked for, such as filling out a testimonial form, marketing/photography, focus groups, etc.
