The Company
Hulme Community Garden Centre (HCGC) is a unique, community-led, not-for-profit project established over 20 years ago. Rooted in organic principles and best horticultural practice, we promote sustainability, environmental respect, and well-being through gardening. We prioritise local suppliers, support independent businesses, and limit plastic use while recycling wherever possible.
More than a garden centre, we are a volunteer and education hub, bringing communities together through gardening. Our dedicated professional team offers specialist knowledge and guidance, while our two-acre site encourages biodiversity and urban wildlife. We provide a safe, inclusive and inspiring space to relax, learn and play — nurturing both plants and people.
