The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
Did joining Unibuddy Community influence your decision to choose Manchester Met? Did it make you feel more or less confident about joining?
We are interested in knowing to what extent Unibuddy community may have influenced your decision to choose Manchester Met and looking for international students who have experience with using Unibuddy Community to take part in a focus group. This session will explore how students have engaged with the platform before they enrolled, the groups they joined, the conversations and messages they engaged with as well as discussions of how Unibuddy community can be improved to better support future international students.
What we’ll discuss:
- Your Experience: What made you join the Unibuddy Community in the first place? What groups did you join? What were you messaging in groups and what topics did you discuss with students in your conversations?
- Your Ideas: This is your chance to be creative! What features would make the platform more engaging? How can we make the experience better and easier for prospective international students to connect with us?
Who should apply: Students that joined and have experience with using the Unibuddy Community platform. PLEASE NOTE: Unibuddy Community is different to Unibuddy Chat (Unibuddy Chat is when you have started a conversation with one of the student ambassadors on the website).
You will mainly participate in discussions, as well as complete a survey.
We are also conducting voice recordings and require your consent for this.
