PGCE Email Blogger - Health & Education

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students from the Faculty of Health and Education. To apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role. 

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Marketing Team to plan and deliver blog-style content about your subject. This will include: 

Written copy: Introduction to yourself, why you chose Manchester Met to pursue a masters in your chosen subject, and what advice would you give to prospective students.  

Imagery: Self-shot photos of you using relevant facilities or in the Brooks building.  

You will be supported by the marketing team throughout; however, we want you to write authentically about your experience as a postgraduate student. This project is all about promoting the student voice to future students.  

You will be creating one blog post which will be used in email communications and other relevant marketing materials.   

Dates: A first draft of content will be due on 27 March 2026. At this stage, we will review your submission and provide relevant feedback. Final versions will need to be submitted no later than 3rd April 2026.  

Time: We expect this task to take no longer than 2 hours.  

Details of briefing: We will brief you either via email, or a optional quick Teams call.  

This role is open to Manchester Met students who meet the following requirements: 

• • Must be a current postgraduate PGCE student in the Faculty of Health and Education
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  •  Willing to talk about your own experience.
  •  Able to be a positive role model to future students.
  •  Responsible attitude and the ability to show initiative.
  •  Ability to use a smartphone to take high quality photos.
  •  Students will be required to work collaboratively with the Marketing team and therefore, will need to be contactable via email.
