Student Internship 2026 - Student Research & Development
 
Rise are looking for a student to support us with research, development, and user testing of a new framework for academic credit gained through co-curricular experiences. We want to work with current students to explore and test out ideas for a framework restructure which are currently in the initial design stages. We hope to hire an intern who can help plan, organise, and design workshops, and design a model for gathering feedback and evaluation.  
 
We are looking to work with someone who is happy to go from planning, writing, and thinking about task lists, all the way through to getting creative with workshop design and delivery. We require someone who can communicate clearly, will provide constructive and honest feedback, and help us to engage other students meaningfully. 
 
Are you someone who is curious and open enough to explore new and innovative ideas, as well as organised and good at communicating, to help us rationalise what we find out?

Dates: 25 May 2026 - 17 July 2026
Hours per week: 10
 
Students will be expected to develop the following skills and experiences while carrying out this internship:
  • project planning
  • workshop design & delivery
  • reflection sessions, and designing feedback/evaluation models
  • develop great feedback skills, offering insights and feedback that is authentic and functional 
 
Please Note - As part of the 2026 Student Internship offering, priority will be given to Level 5 & 6 students who have specified in the Careers Registration survey (this is completed during enrolment and cannot be changed at this time) that they have had no work experience in the last 12 months and would like some on campus work or a short work placementHowever, applications are welcomed from all students meeting the criteria below.
   
Students are only eligible to undertake one internship under the 2026 Student Internship offering.
